EAS Lithium Upgrade
EAS Electric Autosports Inc. has designed a scalable lithium battery system which makes switching to lithium easy and safe! This upgrade integrates an E-meter, isolation contactor and BMS in one module.
System includes:
- 4x 100AH 12V GBS batteries
- LCD display and remote control box
- Master control module canitaining contactor, BMS computer and current shunt
- Instalation and opperating instructions
Features:
- simple installation and operation
- Marine Grade cable and corrosion protected cell sensors
- each lithium cell is monitored for voltage (up to 156 cells are individually monitored)
- each lithium cell will shut down charging or discharging based on low voltage or high voltage alarms
- each lithium cell’s temperature is monitored between cell’s terminals
- each lithium cell will shut down charging or discharging based on over temperature alarm
- each lithium cell is balanced at the top end of it's capacity
- remote display shows battery’s voltage, battery’s remaining capacity and each cells’ voltage and each cells’ temperature
- remote displays’ switches gives complete remote control of lithium battery pack
- accidental turn on reduced by press and hold turn on feature
- only 2 wires are connected to the existing system in a boat or RV
- can be paralleled with an existing lead-acid battery pack
- can replace an existing lead-acid battery (requires maximum float voltage 14.4V)
- system is fused at 300 Amps (ANL fuse)
- internal break contactor is rated for 600V at 500 A continuous (2000A interruptable)
- low temperature operation down to -20 C
- high temperature operation up to 65 C (high temp alarm shut down)
- lithium has more than twice the capacity of lead by weight
- batteries are rated for 2000 cycles at 80% DOD (depth of discharge)
